What is Airway Orthodontics?
Airway Orthodontics focuses on transforming your breathing by first expanding the upper jaw with specialized devices, followed by adjusting the lower jaw with orthodontic treatment. This comprehensive approach enhances the volume of your airway, promoting better breathing and overall health.
Breathe Life into Your Smile
Midfacial Skeletal Expansion
Airway Orthodontics bridges the gap between dental health and breathing. Dr. Koval is recognized as one of the nation's leading MARPE/MSE providers and has been Florida's most experienced MARPE/MSE provider since 2021.
MARPE expanders are custom-designed appliances aimed at expanding the maxillary bone by moving its two halves apart. This procedure creates additional space for bone growth at the floor of the nasal cavity, improving nasal airway flow and overall breathing.
